Eligibility and exam pattern
Who can apply (BITSAT 2026)
Class 12 (10+2) passed in 2025 or appearing in 2026, from a recognised central or state board. For B.E. and most M.Sc programmes: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with at least 75% aggregate in the three and at least 60% in each. For B.Pharm and some other programmes, Biology can take the place of Mathematics on the same terms. At most two attempts.
Exam pattern (BITSAT 2026)
- Computer based test of 3 hours, 130 multiple choice questions
- Physics 30, Chemistry 30, English Proficiency 10, Logical Reasoning 20, Mathematics (or Biology for B.Pharm) 40
- 3 marks for a correct answer, minus 1 for a wrong answer
- Up to 12 extra questions if all 130 are answered with time left
